A glimpse AT MY STORY...

Blair-130.jpg

I was born and raised in a Christian home in the South, where Jesus, football, and sweet tea were staples growing up. But it wasn't until I was in college where I fully understood the weight of my sin, and the price Jesus paid to set me free.

Having this realization I began seeking God more, but I still struggled with reading the Bible. I knew the scriptures I should know, I knew the popular stories from Sunday school, but my Bible sat to collect dust most of the week.

It wasn’t until I was 30, I found myself walking through a dark season of anxiety and depression. During this time I wrestled with hard questions about God, His character, and even His existence…

As I reached my breaking point, my prayers began to change. Out of desperation, instead of asking God to “take this suffering away,” I began asking, “Lord, what are You teaching me through this?” That is when everything started to shift. I began to see that I didn't know God. I knew a version of Him told to me, but I didn't understand His character, His words or His goodness for myself. In that season, I began seeking after Him wholeheartedly, and in doing so I came to know God, and not just know of Him.

Now, that is my heart for you! I am passionate about others coming to know Jesus deeply, trust Him fully, and find that even in the hard places, He is faithful.

MY FAMILY

My husband, Mason, and I met at Clemson University in 2012 (Go Tigers!). We got engaged in April 2016 and were married just six months later, because when you know, you know! It was peak Pinterest wedding era, and I fully embraced it and had our wedding planned months before he even popped the question.

In January 2020, right before the world shut down from COVID, we welcomed our first son (great timing, I know). Then came our daughter in 2022, and two years later (almost to the day), our youngest, another sweet boy! (Apparently, we like patterns around here.) These days, we live in the small town my husband was raised in, with cows out front and a pond out back. It’s peaceful, a little wild, and somehow both calm and chaotic all at once. It's a beautiful life beyond what we prayed for.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

I believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. I believe in the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, is God in the flesh. I believe salvation is found in Him alone through His death and resurrection, and that all are saved by grace through faith, not by works. I believe the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, guiding and transforming their lives. I believe in the reality of heaven and hell, the call to share the Gospel, and the return of Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom.
